On Saturday 6th June, the GB Bus Group ran its first bus tour and depot visit. The Warwickshire Wanderer, visited the the Stagecoach Depots at Nuneaton, Rugby, Leamington and Stafford as well as a visit to De Courcey in Coventry. The Group is grateful to Ken Pitt for his efforts in organising this first trip and also Clive Jones, Commercial Manager for Stagecoach in Warwickshire at Rugby, who made all the arrangements for us. The vehicle used for the tour was Routemaster JJD 565D, formerly LTE’s RML2565 and with Stratford Blue prior to transferring to Stagecoach.

The tour was a success with 22 bus enthusiasts joining us for the trip and positive feedback on the day. Our next tour took place on 1st August - further information here.
